Eligibility and Qualifications for Orissa TET

(i) Child Development and Pedagogy 30 MCQs 30 Marks (ii)Language I (Odia / Urdu / Hindi / Telugu / Bengali) 30 MCQs 30 Marks (iii) Language II 30 MCQs 30 Marks (iv) Mathematics 30 MCQs 30 Marks (v) Environmental Studies 30 MCQs 30 Marks Total 150 MCQs 150 Marks OTET 2014 Paper II (for classes VI to VIII): Duration of examination – one-and-a-half hours Structure and Content: Orissa Teachers Eligibility Test 2016  Compulsory : (i) Child Development & Pedagogy (compulsory) 30 MCQs 30 Marks (ii) Language I (Odia / Urdu / Hindi / Telugu / Bengali) 30 MCQs 30 Marks (iii) Language II (compulsory) 30 MCQs 30 Marks In each subject area 20 questions will be set from contents and 10 questions from pedagogy. 90 mcq 90 Marks OPTIONAL: A. For Mathematics and Science Teachers 60 Question (30 questions from mathematics and 30 questions from science) 30 Marks B. For Social studies Teachers 60 Question (30 questions from History and Political Science and 30 questions from Geography) 30 Marks 60 MCQs 60 Marks (In each subject area 20 questions will be set from contents and 10 questions from pedagogy. All the questions will be Multiple Choice Questions, each carrying one mark, with four alternatives out of which one answer will be correct.
